Product Details

A one-of-a-kind estate sale find, this historical print D. Porthault round tablecloth is made of 100% cretonne and measures approximately 96 inches in diameter.

This tablecloth's print is comprised of red/pink poppies among green leaves and blue vines on a white ground. It was reportedly used for events corresponding to the grand opening of D. Porthault's second American boutique in Dallas, TX, in 2004, and the print was not initially produced for general sale. Interestingly, the version of the D. Porthault logo on the tablecloth's label was used by the company until 1996 based on a trademark search.
This tablecloth is in excellent pre-owned condition with minimal apparent prior use. It has no large stains, tears, or dye/color defects. The original D. Porthault label indicates fabric composition and care. A second label states "printed by hand" in French, corresponding to the process of hand screenprinting for which the company is known. Tablecloth is s hown on a 36-inch diameter table for reference.
This tablecloth is sold in "as found" condition and has been stored in a pet-free, pest-free, smoke-free, and moisture-free environment since acquisition. For details on fabric care, please see the company's official website.
Please note that every effort is made to depict colors accurately; colors may vary due to individual device or monitor settings.
