This gorgeous vintage blue and white Chinese porcelain fishbowl planter features a scrolling vine motif accented with coral pink roses. The interior is decorated with goldfish and kelp in shades of pink, blue, and gray.
In overall great condition for its vintage age, this piece has no cracks, chips, or crazing (fine cracks in the glaze). Area of glaze irregularity on the rim (not a chip) as shown. Minor wear to the interior and unglazed foot as shown is consistent with prior use. This is a substantial piece and weighs approximately 12 lbs. exclusive of packing material.
Approximate dimensions: 9 ¾ inches high; 12 ¼ inches in diameter at widest point. Mouth of planter measures 9 ¼ inches in diameter. Base measures 7 inches in diameter (interior).
