This beautiful vintage earthenware bowl features a blue spatter glaze treatment on a soft white ground. Perfect for use in the kitchen or displayed with a pottery collection.
In overall very good condition for its vintage age, this piece has no cracks or chips. There are some areas of glaze roughness as shown that are part of the handmade process. The bowl has crazing as shown consistent with its age and prior use. Two lines of letters are incised in the bottom of the bowl, possibly the potter's name. The top line may read Garcia, with the letters JM on the second line.
