This vintage blue and white spongeware pitcher will be a welcome addition to any pottery collection!
In overall great condition for its vintage age, this piece is substantial and has no chips or cracks. There is crazing (fine cracks in the glaze) throughout the body of the piece as shown consistent with its age and prior use. Minor wear to the unglazed foot as shown. The bottom of the pitcher is incised with the letters BH and is otherwise unmarked. There is a heart shape impressed into the bottom of the handle.
Approximate dimensions: 5 ¾ inches tall; 7 ½ inches wide including handle; 5 ¼ inches in diameter.
