This stunning vintage fine porcelain Fukagawa Seiji vase will have pride of place on your bookshelf or mantel. With an almost ethereal quality to the underglaze, this elegantly shaped piece features tree peonies and leaves in shades of cobalt blue, coral, and orange, accented with gold, on a white ground.
In overall great condition for its vintage age, this vase has no chips, cracks, or crazing (fine cracks in the glaze). Minimal wear to the unglazed foot as shown is consistent with its age and prior use. The version of the original potter's mark on the bottom of the vase has been used by Fukagawa since approximately the 1970's.
