Vintage Green Ceramic Basketweave Bowl Made in Italy

This vintage Italian ceramic bowl in the loveliest shade of green glaze is the perfect addition to any tabletop, including when used as a vessel for a seasonal floral arrangement. This handmade piece combines a woven texture with pierced, scalloped details along the rim for a whimsical feel.

In overall very good condition for its vintage age, this substantial piece has no large cracks or crazing (fine cracks in the glaze). There a few small "fleabite" chips as shown, consistent with age and prior use. Glaze irregularities are part of the handmade process. The bowl is incised "Italy" on the bottom.

Approximate dimensions: 9 inches in diameter; 4 inches high.
