This vintage lamp was a fabulous estate sale find and is sure to add "traditional with a twist" style to any room. The carved giltwood fruit base was purchased on a trip to Italy in the early 1950's and then later converted into a lamp that was enjoyed in three of the couple's homes across two states over the years.
In overall great condition for its vintage age, the lamp's giltwood base has no large gouges or cracks. Wear to the painted finish, including exposure of the red base in some areas, is as shown, consistent with this piece's age and prior use. Minor wear to the metal fittings as shown. The lamp retains original label from Lampcrafters of Lexington, North Carolina, which operated between 1977 and 2004, which converted the piece into a lamp with three-way switch.
Lamp has original wiring and works; professional evaluation and rewiring is recommended for safety. Lamp is sold "as is" in "as found" condition, and no warranty is made about the function of the lamp with its existing wiring.
