This vintage porcelain trinket box with a striking red ground features a regal crane among crashing waves.
In overall great condition for its vintage age, neither the lid nor box of this piece has cracks, chips, or crazing (fine cracks in the glaze). Negligible paint loss as shown consistent with age and prior use. Though it no longer retains its original label, this piece was made in Japan and imported by Takahashi of San Francisco.
Approximate dimensions: 4 ¾ inches in diameter; 1 ¾ inches high including lid.
