This vintage shell box known as a sailor's valentine will add a touch of coastal style to any bookshelf or mantel vignette.
In overall very good condition for its vintage age, there are no large areas shell loss/breakage. Some chipping of the mollusc shell on the box's lid as shown reflects the piece's age and prior use. Minor wear to the box's red fabric lining. The fabric hinge attaching the lid to the box is intact.
